This past week I have been thinking a lot about expectations. I have been around a lot of people lately that expect their life to be a certain way and consciously or not, make decisions based on these expectations. From my outside perspective (which is certainly not unbiased) these seem to hold them back.

When people expect to be overweight, sick, weak, or whatever the expectation is, you will find that result quite easily. Also, if you expect to eat well, be fit and strong, and finish a goal, it has been my experience that you will meet that expectation as well.

I see people all the time that go through the motions of exercise or nutrition changes, but never actually expect those actions to work.

It is vitally important that you believe your actions will produce the result you want. Examine your expectations this week and reassess whether they are appropriate or not.
